On the other hand, blown in loft insulation involves blowing fibrous insulation between the joists using a hose. The fibre based insulation is made of fire retardant recycled newspaper or wool. This blown in insulation is completed faster than blanket insulation. However, if you use your loft as a storage space then this insulation is to be avoided.
